Oven Wizards, 2017, a magical year!

Oven Wizards had a magical year in 2017 in terms of business growth.

Business growth was up 16% in the last year, 2017, in terms of the numbers of ovens being cleaned by Oven Wizards Franchisees.

All Wizards who were due to renew their agreements in 2017 did so and there were plenty of new Wizards joining the community, from Ayr in the North to the New Forest in the South.

Warwick Bean, Oven Wizards Isle of Wight said “2017 was a good year for OW Isle of Wight, a significant increase on my first year”

David Wilkin, Oven Wizards Norwich said, “My Oven Wizards business is always growing and I’m still loving it. I feel very confident 2018 will be a very good year, so far so good, the numbers of bookings have gone mad, I am booked up a month in advance.”

Mark Abbott, Managing Director said,” 2017 was another great year for Oven Wizards, building on the success of the previous few years. Our first two new Wizards in 2018 are ladies which is great. We are thoroughly enjoying sharing our business ethos with all our franchisees and it is great to see them doing so well in their own territories.”

Andrew Dominey launches his new Oven Wizards business at Morrison’s in Wellingborough

Oven Wizards can report another successful launch of their latest Franchisee, Andrew Dominey, at Morrison’s in Wellingborough. Andrew, John and Mark had a great day, mixing with the Christmas shoppers last month, resulting in lots of happy new clients booking in to have their ovens cleaned before Christmas.

What’s been cooking at Oven Wizards Annual Conference?

The Wizards got together last month for their Annual Conference in Stratford-upon-Avon, with the theme for the day being “Anything Could Happen”.

The Conferences have become bigger and better over the years with lots of sharing of ideas to find better ways of working, during the business meeting in the afternoon and later at the social event in the evening.

Clive Perrett who runs the Bristol North Territory said,” Just a quick thank-you for another entertaining as well as educational weekend. As James said, the conferences get better and better! I found it extremely helpful and will be using loads of ideas gained to help me run my business much more efficiently”

Subjects covered on the day included sole and multi van operations, improved insurance arrangements, operational stuff and client management.

Rob Radford from Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Borders said “Thank- you for a great meeting during the day and some lovely hospitality to follow. I took lots away in terms of learnings from the meeting and to be honest learned lots just chatting to so many different people. Everyone has their own little take on how to work, where to get business and some good general pointers! It was a great chance to get to know some of the other Wizards and to put names to faces, as well as the guest speakers too.”

He went on to say, “We had Wizards coming together from all over the UK. Whilst we are now getting good National coverage, we still have Territories available for the right sort of people”.

Who will become the 60th Wizard?

Oven Wizards had two busy days at the National Franchise Show last week. Visitors had the opportunity to chat informally with Oven Wizards two Directors, John Graham and Mark Abbott.

We have already received follow up contact from show visitors who are seeking to find out more about the opportunity before making their final decisions about investment.

John Said, "We’ve had brilliant conversations across the two days and are hopeful that we’ll recruit our 60th franchisee as a result of being there”.

Rob,who visited last year’s Franchise Show at the NEC and who became the 50^th Wizard earlier this year commented on his reasons for joining Oven Wizards, “I would say my reasons for joining were that I really liked the business model in terms of the flexibility to manage my own diary around family commitments. The size of the territory offers me room for expansion to multi van in the future, without the need for more investment. I like the concept whereby we as franchisees deal directly with John and Mark on a daily basis rather than a team that work for them”.
