Three Wise Men join Oven Wizards!!

Oven Wizards are very pleased to announce that they have successfully helped three new Franchisees, who all set Oven Wizards the challenge of wanting to be up and running before the pre-Christmas oven cleaning rush.

They have sprinkled a bit of Oven Wizards magic, and quite a large dollop of blood ,sweat (and a few tears), to make their dreams come true, and given them each an early Christmas present.

Tony Puttock , who has taken an Oven Wizards Territory in Worthing and Arundel, was the first of the Three Wise Men to launch his business successfully in the middle of November. The launch activity and support Tony has received has kept him very busy during his first few weeks.

Tony said,“I was looking for a tried and tested business with a great reputation. When I enquired about Oven Wizards, I received a quick and polite response to my initial enquiry, which wasn’t pushy and with no pressure to join. John and Mark have provided great training and support. They are very professional and are always on the end of the phone when I need any help.”

David Allen, who has taken the Walsall Territory and Adrian Bartlett, who has taken a Territory in York and the Wolds have both launched their own Oven Wizards businesses in their respective Territories during November. David said “Everyone connected with Oven Wizards has been friendly and supportive. I found the training very comprehensive and felt prepared to go out and start my business once it was completed.”

John Graham said,” 2016 has been another great year for us, and 2017 looks like being even better. We have thoroughly enjoyed sharing our business ethos with our new franchisees. It is great to see them doing so well in their own territories.”

Oven Wizards report continued growth in the first half of 2016.

Oven wizards have had a fantastic first 6 months in 2016. A further 6 new franchisees have joined the franchise, from the Scottish Borders in the North to the Isle of Wight in the South. In addition to this a 100% renewal rate has been achieved from existing franchisees wanting to sign up for a further term.

Warwick Bean, who owns and operates his Territory on the Isle of Wight, wasn’t too sure how his new Oven Wizards business might start , but was “tickled pink” with the successful outcome. Warwick was really pleased with the support he received from his wife Jan, John and Mark at his launch.

Mark Abbott, Managing Director said, “We are thoroughly enjoying sharing our business ethos with our new franchisees and it is great to see them doing so well in their own territories. David Wilkin launches his new Oven Wizards business at Tescos in Norwich

Oven Wizards can report another successful launch of our latest Franchisee, David Wilkin, at Tescos in Norwich. David, John and Mark had a great day resulting in lots of happy new clients booking in to have their ovens cleaned. One such client, Mrs Hall from Norwich, had seen David’s press release the previous week in the local paper and had cut it out in order to come and see us at Tescos to get her discount. She said “I’ve only come to Tescos today to get my oven booked in for a clean and to claim my discount. I’m not here to do any shopping, me and my friend are now off out for lunch”

David said “ My launch has been a fantastic success and far exceeded my expectations. I’m now fully booked for the next few weeks and I know i will get lots more bookings from clients who took away one of my leaflets”

Oven Wizards’ Kevin Brown realises his investment.

Oven Wizards are pleased to report that one of their Franchisees has successfully realised his investment by selling his business to another well-established Franchisee.

Kevin Brown, formerly the business owner of Oven Wizards Colchester, has sold his business to Ian Keddie, business owner of Oven Wizards Dartford.

Kevin said of his time with Oven Wizards –

“I had been looking for a franchise for a long time and had seen many, but as soon as I met John Graham and Mark Abbott, Directors of Oven Wizards, I knew this was the one I was looking for. It was a great business and both John and Mark were excellent with the information and help they gave. I had my business for 4 and a half years and in that time they gave me all the support I needed by either helping with any problems I had or leaving me to it if I wanted that”.  

Kevin went on to say,

“From the start it was very good investment and continued to grow year on year. It exceeded the expectations I had formed from what I thought I had been told by John. I sold my business for health reasons as I could no longer clean ovens. The process of selling the business was made very easy for me as John took a major role in helping me. I am very pleased with the price I achieved on the sale as it was 3 times the price of the franchise fee.

Looking back I am really glad that I took the decision to buy a franchise with Oven Wizards as John and Mark run a very professional company. They look after their franchisee's and care about their business. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.’

Ian Keddie said -“The reason I bought Kevin’s business was to help me expand my existing operation and to allow me to manage the business instead of working in it. It's obviously easier taking an existing business over with somebody already working that area. 

The help I received from Mark was great and covered things that I had not thought of.”

Oven Wizards report continued business growth in 2015!

Oven Wizards are pleased to report continued growth in terms of the business they are delivering.

Business growth is up nearly 40% in the last year, 2015, in terms of the numbers of ovens being cleaned by Oven Wizards Franchisees.

Mark Bedford, Oven Wizards, Poole said, “I’m really pleased with the way my Oven Wizards business is growing and so far I’ve been working flat out in 2016. I’m very happy with progress”

Larry Lasenby, Oven Wizards, Bracknell said, “I’m very pleased with how my Oven Wizards business is going. I’m busy and thinking about expansion”.

Oven Wizards becomes Full Member of the bfa

Oven Wizards has been upgraded to Full Membership of the British Franchise Association (bfa) in recognition of its sustained franchising performance.

The highest level of bfa membership, it's a stature reserved only for those franchisors that have demonstrated a successful trading, financial and franchising record over an extended period of time. The accreditation process also includes an examination of franchisee performance and the opportunity for confidential feedback.

Kelly Blackmore-Lee, head of compliance and finance for the bfa, said: "The attainment of Full Membership is a testament to the long-term investment in ethical franchising shown by Oven Wizards. Mark and John have worked hard to develop their network according to high standards and in support of their Franchisees. We look forward to working with them as that development continues."

The news comes as Oven Wizards builds on a record-breaking year. Demand for Franchisees' services was at its highest-ever level in the last 12 months, with December especially busy for the network. Managing director John Graham said that demand has extended into January in what has been an excellent start to 2016 for the company.

He commented: "Becoming a full member of the bfa is fantastic news for Oven Wizards. This is a further acknowledgement by the bfa that the work we have been doing behind the scenes to ensure new and existing Franchisees have the best possible support to run their own successful oven cleaning businesses, is paying dividends.
